There is a huge charity group in Daegu that
supports orphans and underprivileged children and they decided to host a
scavenger hunt where you pay a certain amount per team. Teams were made of four
people and when you arrive they give you all the info you need to complete the
tasks. So Julie, Gabby, Kaylyn and I decided to give it a go as it looked like
fun and was something different compared to the usual things we do. I don’t know about you but when I think of a scavenger hunt I think of a
whole bunch of clues leading you to different places where you have to find a
next clue and so on till you reach your final destination. Anyways this is not
what it turned out to be. When we received our envelopes it turned out the
challenges all included doing ridiculous things with random Koreans in the
street and taking photos. It was awkward and embarrassing most of the time but
actually turned out to be a whole lot of fun in the end!
Here are a few of the challenges/photos we
had to do:
All group members simultaneously bowing to a stranger |
Group hug a stranger |
Propose to a stranger |
Mummify a team member in toilet paper (Yes, that is me) |
All members must jump in the air and each members feet should be off the ground |
swop clothes with a team mate (see below) |
All members wearing different hats |
Spell the word Love 146 with your fingers/body |
We came 3rd place! We won food vouchers :) |
All members doing taichi (no idea what taichi even is) |
